The Dance

Founded in 1990, The Dance has been a cornerstone of dance education in Riverside and surrounding communities for over three decades. Our mission centers on providing structured, caring instruction that prioritizes safe teaching methods and proper technique across all dance disciplines. With a team of experienced instructors holding college degrees or actively pursuing them, we blend academic rigor with industry relevance to keep our teaching current and dynamic. Our facility in Woodcrest Plaza features air-conditioned studios with floating wood floors, offering an optimal environment for learning. We cater to students aged 18 months to adults, spanning beginner to advanced levels, and emphasize age-appropriate choreography, costuming, and performance opportunities.

Through two annual professional productions and a performance/competition team, we provide platforms for students to showcase their skills in family-friendly settings. Our on-site dancewear boutique, stocked with brands like Body Wrappers and So Danca, ensures students have access to high-quality apparel and footwear. Recognized as the Favorite Dance Studio in the Inland Empire by the Press Enterprise in 2021, 2022, and 2025, we remain committed to fostering a positive, inspiring atmosphere where dancers of all ages can thrive.
