Competition Teams
Our nationally ranked competition teams require dedication to technique classes and mandatory master workshops. Dancers receive specialized training in jazz, lyrical, and hip-hop while building performance skills through regional and national competitions. The program emphasizes artistic growth, teamwork, and professional development for serious dancers.
Technique Classes
Mandatory technique classes focus on foundational skills including ballet, conditioning, and style-specific training. Students receive personalized attention to improve their form, flexibility, and performance quality while maintaining consistency with our studio's teaching methodology and competition preparation standards.
Studio Rentals
Our 13,680 sq ft facility features five professional studios with sprung floors and full audio systems. Available seven days a week, the space accommodates rehearsals, workshops, and special events with flexible rental options for dance professionals and community groups in central Fresno.
Pre-Professional Program
This elite program prepares dancers for professional careers through rigorous training requirements and performance opportunities. Selected participants must maintain strict attendance in technical classes while demonstrating exceptional commitment to their artistic and physical development under our instructors' guidance.
Local Performance Teams
Designed for dancers seeking performance experience without full competition commitment, this program offers three annual competitions and a recital. Participants receive technical training while developing stage presence and teamwork skills in a supportive environment focused on creative expression and community engagement.

Kendra Primavera
Owner/Director
With 21 years of teaching experience, Kendra has directed Dolce Dance Studio for over 12 years. A former choreography award winner, she has developed nationally recognized competition teams and mentored dancers who have achieved professional success in entertainment and collegiate programs.
Susie Mcinnerney
Administrative Director
Susie has managed studio operations since 2003, combining dance community experience with administrative expertise. With 23 years in dance education and family connections to the studio, she oversees front desk operations and supports families while maintaining the studio's family-oriented atmosphere.
Melissa Aguiar
Instructor
A 20-year teaching veteran, Melissa specializes in early childhood dance education and has built some of the country's top young dancers. Formerly a 49er Gold Rush cheerleader, she brings both technical expertise and performance experience to her classes while emphasizing positive development for all ages.
Amber Wilcox
Instructor/Coach
With 20 years of teaching experience, Amber specializes in jazz and preschool instruction. A former Clovis West pep coach, she currently leads local competition teams while maintaining focus on motivating dancers to achieve their personal best through structured technical training.
Amanda Greager
Instructor
A professional commercial dancer with experience in music videos and award shows, Amanda teaches jazz and contemporary styles. What dance styles do you offer?
We offer jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, contemporary, ballet, tap, and pep styles with specialized instruction from experienced professionals in each discipline.
Are there performance opportunities for non-competitive dancers?
Yes, our Local Team program provides performance experiences without full competition commitment, including three annual competitions and a recital for community-focused dancers.
What are the competition team requirements?
Travel teams require mandatory technique classes, two additional weekly training sessions, and attendance at five competitions including nationals. Local teams need two weekly classes and three competitions plus recital participation.
Can students take private lessons?
Private lessons are available exclusively for team members to maintain technical consistency and ensure proper preparation for competition requirements and performance standards.
Do you offer facility rentals?
Yes, our 13,680 sq ft facility with five professional studios is available for rental seven days a week for rehearsals, workshops, and special events.
What age groups do you accept?
We accept dancers starting at age 3 with classes and teams specifically designed for different developmental stages from preschool through advanced competitive levels.

Not only a place that teaches the best dance instruction in the Central Valley, but also a place that teaches each student accountability, determination, hard work, setting goals, role models, I could go on and on. Whether your child takes one class a week or dance competitively, you will fall in love with the atmosphere and family setting at Dolce!

We love everything about Dolce Dance Studio!! The teachers and staff are AMAZING!! The teachers are loving, passionate, supportive and wonderful role models. Dolce is my daughters home away from home. My daughter started dancing at Dolce two years ago and her growth has been incredible. The owners are the nicest most caring people. We feel extremely blessed to have found this studio.
