LaBiche Jewelers was started in 1953 as a wholesale jewelry repair shop by my father, Maurice Jerome LaBiche, Sr. He began his career in 1945 working in a trade shop with 18 jewelry craftsmen serving Boudreaux's Jewelers in New Orleans. After serving in the Navy during the Korean War, he moved to Meridian and began doing repairs for Lerner's Jewelers.
