Gentry's Hair Studio opened in 2018. Founded by Melody Gentry, the small studio space provided a relaxing space for clients to enjoy hair & spa services. Throughout her 18+ year career, she has always strived to bring the inner light to the outward appearance for each client. In 2019, the studio was relocated to downtown Shawnee.

For me, this business is about people and caring. I started out my career as an apprentice, and have worked my way up through the years. I have worked behind the chair for well over 17 years, during which I educated and worked the hair show circuit for Farouk Systems for 5 years. I learned a great deal from my CHI family, which lit a fire within me to compete with my own original work.
