Class-A

The demand for class A drivers is at an all-time high and is expected to continue to grow in the future. Average fleet driver salaries are now at $73,000.
Class-B
Report
Daly's has a vehicle that will allow you to get a CDL class B license with no restrictions. Most of our competitors train you in a bus with an automatic restriction. This means you cannot go to work driving most dump trucks, concrete trucks, and many other class B vehicles. The employers who are hiring require you to be able to drive a manual transmission as well as an automatic.
CDL Permit Process

The minimum requirements required by the state of Georgia CDL Permit Process: Minimum age of 18, Valid Georgia driver's license, Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and alcohol test. In addition to Georgia requirements, Daly's prefers a clean criminal background, and solid employment history, but each applicant is reviewed on an individual basis.
Equipment & Facility

Since you will test in a truck and work in a truck you should spend as much time in one as possible. This is more expensive for us than sitting you in front of a computer, but it is better for your development. Daly's strives to ensure that you practice on the same equipment you will test on and go to work in, which is why - from the yard and road training to testing and eventual employment - we try to put you in late model equipment.
