Dr. Candace Brown is a native of Dallas, Texas. She attended Lake Highlands High School in Richardson ISD, where she first decided to pursue a career in dentistry. She went on to receive her B.S. degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from Baylor University.
While at Baylor, Dr. Brown was very active in the community and on campus serving as a member of the Baylor Nutrition Society, a Mission Waco Ministries Mentor, Special Olympics Volunteer, Waco Humane Society Volunteer, and the President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Bridge
Report
A bridge is a permanently cemented fixture that is used to restore a missing tooth. Bridges are crowns at that are connected together and cemented into the mouth. It requires that the teeth around the missing space be in excellent condition. They cannot be mobile or infected, because they will be used as supporting teeth for the bridge.
Cleanings
Report
In order to maintain optimal hygiene, it is recommended that you get your teeth cleaned every 6 months. In between cleanings we expect our patients to maintain good at-home care such as brushing 2 times per day, flossing daily, and wearing their suggested appliances. If the teeth are not cleaned after 6 months, the plaque and tartar build up starts to stick to the teeth very tenaciously.
Crowns
Report
Over the lifetime of a tooth, it's integrity is compromised from over exposure to acid, biting forces, and trauma. The density and strength of the tooth is reduced tremendously from daily wear and tear. A tooth with multiple decaying surfaces or large cavities, large existing fillings, existing root canals, or cracks will need a crown.
