Oil Spill Response
Our certified Oil Spill Response Organization (OSRO) provides 24/7 emergency services with over 15,000 hours of Tampa Bay remediation experience. We deploy 30,000 feet of containment boom and specialized equipment for rapid containment and recovery. Our team follows strict safety protocols to minimize environmental impact while ensuring regulatory compliance for both private and public sector clients.
Water Treatment Plant
The Tampa Bay area's first dissolved air-flotation water treatment plant offers cost-effective solutions for industrial wastewater. We accept deliveries via client trucks or our fleet, processing contaminated water through advanced filtration systems. Recovered oil and sludge undergo recycling or approved disposal methods, including incineration of dewatered solids at resource recovery facilities.
Tank Cleaning
Specializing in petroleum tank cleaning for land and marine vessels, we use steam boilers to maintain 160-220F water temperatures for optimal cleaning. Our Tampa Bay-exclusive system handles butterworthing, mucking, and gas freeing operations. Mobile capabilities allow service anywhere in the Gulf of Mexico with adherence to strict safety and environmental standards.
Oil Recovery
We collect and process used oil from vessels and land locations using seven vacuum trucks (3,300-5,500 gallon capacity) and semi-tankers up to 7,500 gallons. Our fleet ensures efficient transportation to approved processing centers for recycling, maintaining compliance with environmental regulations throughout the recovery and disposal process.
Shipyard Services
Diversified Marine Tech provides comprehensive ship repair including welding, piping, boiler maintenance, and structural repairs. We offer equipment rentals like crane barges and welding machines while maintaining a full-service wet berth with 24-foot draft capacity. Services cover both emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance for commercial marine vessels.

Report
Liz at DES is extremely rude and unprofessional and that's putting it mildly. She stated she has been with the company 30 + years. Based on her phone etiquette or lack there of definitely implies that there is room for improvement! I would never work with DES no recommend anyone to them.

I have known this company for a years now. One of the most loyal, hardworking, and accommodating people I've ever had the chance of doing business with. Dog-friendly office too, which is a plus in my book! Keep on keeping on, DES!
