Erie Eyes Angler Lake Erie Fishing Charters are captained by Brian Schmidt. He and wife Kelly have over 20 years experience fishing the the Western Basin of Lake Erie which include the Reef Complex and the surrounding islands of West Sister, Rattlesnake, Green, North Bass, Middle Bass, South Bass, and Kelley Island.
Captain Schmidt is licensed by the USCG and is fully insured. He is also a licensed Ohio Department of Natural Resources Lake Erie Fishing Guide. The charter service operates out of Northwest Catawba Marina, Dock B-11, in Port Clinton, Ohio. The charter boat is a 29' ft Wellcraft Scarab and is rigged for casting, trolling, and drifting.

Report
All weights and lengths must be officially recorded by the Captain or First Mate to be eligible. Each walleye must be recorded under a single fisherman's name. To be determined by the fisherman who reels the fish in OR where no one fisherman can be identified, by the primary contact that booked the charter.
Fish Ohio Recognition

Walleye and perch caught on our charters may also be eligible for entry into the FISH OHIO RECOGNIGTION PROGRAM. The Fish Ohio program is managed by the The Ohio Division of Wildlife and recognizes anglers for many different qualifying species of fish caught in Ohio each year. Anglers with qualifying fish receive a collectible Fish Ohio lapel pin.
