New Municipality and CDC guidelines have moved mask wear to an optional standard. All directors at Anchorage Funeral Home and Crematory have been fully vaccinated and therefor may not be wearing a mask. If during your arrangement conference you are uncomfortable with that, please share your concerns and we will happily wear a mask during our time together.
We will no longer required to keep a log book, but other cleanliness practices that we've all grown accustomed to over the last year will be kept, such as increased disinfecting processes and dirty/clean pen receptacles. If your loved one dies in a healthcare facility, they will notify the proper authorities, including the funeral home you have chosen to care for your loved one if they know that information.
