Anyone can ride with TACK. We provide trips for medical appointments, grocery shopping, going to work, and anything in between. TACK does not provide "same day" trips. Any person wishing to ride must call before noon the day prior to their trip to make a reservation and pre-pay for the trip. TACK is fully handicap accessible for wheelchairs and ADA transport.
TACK drivers are trained and certified in wheelchair transport and securement as well as being CPR certified. Public transportation is a shared ride system and multiple riders may share the same vehicle. Riders should expect other pick-up and drop-off stops while onboard. Vehicles may take indirect routes to and from locations to accommodate other riders.

Job Opportunities
Report
Operators must be able to push and pull wheelchairs and assist our clients in and out of their homes, in and out of our vehicles, and in and out of doctors' offices. An operator should be able to stand, sit, walk, bend, and squat throughout the day in a variety of weather conditions without undue hardship.
Medicaid Services
Report
Non-emergency Medical Transportation is for Medicaid members who do not have access to free transportation that suits their medical needs and need to be transported to a Medicaid covered service. For transportation outside of a member's medical service area or for specialty care, a referral from a member's primary care physician is required.
Senior Services
Report
The Lincoln Trail Area Development District (LTADD) provides Title III B federal funding to assist senior citizen transportation in Hardin and Meade Counties. TACK is contracted to provide those services supporting senior citizens throughout our service area. Program funding is a finite resource; there is not enough money available to meet every desire of our area seniors or every intent of our non-profit service provider partners.
