This is for academic online sessions only. Sarah graduated from Marquette University with a bachelor's degree in education and sociology, and she's completed coursework in childhood literacy and museum studies. After nine years as a fifth grade teacher in Wauwatosa, Portland, and Chicago, Sarah initially joined NW as a tutor.

Every parent has experienced that moment: your child needs more learning support than you're able to give them yourself. That's where Nurturing Wisdom Tutoring comes in! We match families with tutors who work 1:1 with students of all ages in their homes and online. Our purpose is always to enable students to become curious, confident, and independent learners.

Our tutoring directors are former classroom teachers who understand the complexities of being a student! After an initial consultation with the family, the director matches the student with a tutor, works with our team to create a tutoring plan, and checks in regularly to ensure that the student is getting the most out of tutoring.
