Colleen Hukowski, Front Desk Administrator, has been with Dr. Antonellis for over 30 years. Our patients are greeted by Colleen's warm and friendly smile when they first walk in the door. She schedules patient appointments, handles payment and coordinates all insurance.
Colleen completes the initial parent conference by reviewing the various appointment types based on the suggested course of treatment, as well as setting up a payment schedule that is most convenient for our families.Colleen received her degree in Dental Assisting from the Dental Studies Institute.

Complimentary Consultation

Your first visit to our office is complimentary. When you call to make your consultation appointment, the staff will ask you for some basic information to register you as a patient in our system. When you arrive, you'll be asked to complete a medical history for yourself or your child. This will assist the doctor with understanding your specific health profile, as well as providing additional information to add to the patient record.

This first appointment usually includes two x-rays to assist the doctors in working up your specific treatment plan. The panoramic radiograph is a frontal view and the cephalometric radiograph is a side view of your teeth and jaw. Patients are protected with a lead vest to minimize exposure. We utilize state of the art technology to complete a 3-D digital scan of your teeth.
Active Treatment

Once your orthodontic hardware has been placed, you'll need to return for follow-up adjustment appointments approx 4-6 weeks apart. These appointments will continue as you progress through orthodontic treatment. To accommodate school and other lifestyle activities, adjustment appointments can be scheduled after school or in the evening.

The American Association of Orthodontics suggests a first visit to the orthodontist by the age of seven. Starting the process early doesn't always mean a child will require treatment right away. It simply allows the orthodontist to evaluate and recommend the best timing for treatment.
