The Driver Training program at Northstar will include the basic techniques and skills of operating a motor vehicle safely and the development of moral, legal and personal responsibilities as a driver. TSS or Traffic Survival Schools are designed by the State of Arizona to reach individuals who have problems avoiding adverse traffic situations by increasing their knowledge of Arizona traffic laws, defining their responsibilities while driving, and most importantly, improving their attitude toward safe driving.

Northstar School of Driving specializes in teaching beginning drivers of all ages to become safe drivers in preparation for their driver license. The main objective of Northstar School of Driving, L.L.C. is to develop special qualities in beginning drivers. This objective is accomplished through classroom and behind the wheel instruction.

The Motor Vehicle Department will issue a driver's license to individuals, who are at least 16 but less than 18, six month after they have obtained their permit and after they have successfully passed a road test administered by the MVD.

Additionally, the teen driver must also have satisfactorily completed an Arizona driver education program (like the one offered by Northstar), or have their parent or guardian certify in writing that they have completed at least 30 hours of supervised driving practice, including at least 10 hours at night.A teen driver will be issued a Graduated Class G license if they are at least 16, but less than 18.
