Custom breed-specific grooming includes haircut, nail trim, ear cleaning, and coat conditioning. Our trained professionals handle all sizes and temperaments with specialized techniques for senior or anxious pets, ensuring safe, precise results tailored to each animal's needs.
Cat Grooming
Stress-free cat grooming services include bathing, trimming, and nail care. We use gentle handling methods and calming environments to accommodate feline clients, offering specialized options for long-haired breeds and cats requiring medical grooming assistance.
Therapeutic Treatments
Targeted treatments address specific skin conditions through mud therapy, deep conditioning, and aromatherapy facials. These add-on services nourish skin, reduce inflammation, and improve coat health when combined with our core grooming packages for optimal pet wellness.

Kind, clean, spacious, super competent. Very expensive. $200 for full grooming plus tip. But genuinely good value... compared to some of the less expensive, sketchy, shift and unreliable places I've tried. Thank you!

I brought my 9 month old Miniature Schnauzer to get a grooming. We typically travel from DC to arundel County MD for a reliable Schnauzer cut. 1 day I saw a gentleman with his Schnauzer and I asked where did he go and get is puppy groomed because the work was awesome. He said head to tails. The rest is History lol! We groomed my furbaby and she was excellent! Perfect trimmings and she was very friendly at Hello! I felt totally comfortable leaving my lil man month her. I say all this to say that we found our forever groomer. This would be a 5 if his ears had been stripped. I don't know if I needed

I went for the first time to have both my cat and dog groomed the same day. My cat is a long hair mix and my dog is a Newfoundland. My cat has been groomed before (he is 9) but this was the first time for my dog to be professionally groomed. My dog is 1 and we had done at home treatments but never on a professional level. First off, when I reached out they were so responsive and even guided me to have my cat come in early so it would be quiet for his grooming.
Second, during both the groomings they kept in touch if there were any changes/recommendations( the length for my cat and the de-matting

My sweet Maltese, Wilkes, gets excited when he sees the door! He comes home looking gorgeous and smelling like an Angel! Rachel is the best groomer! This week he left the spa sporting a bow tie. All he needed was a prom date.

We love Angie! Lola is so excited to see her every time she visits, and she does a wonderful job with her doodle coat! Jodi (owner) is so responsive and flexible. Even though we have moved away from the area, we make the 30 min drive every 2.5 months!

It took 2 tries, but in the end he came out alright. For $140, I didn't feel like it was worth it, so won't be returning. However, good customer service on addressing issues and dissatisfaction. The first 10 or so pics are our first visit, the rest are after our return and he corrections were made. Thank you to the owner and the lady at the front desk.

This is the best grooming salon in the DMV area! Weve taken our Golden Retriever here since he was a puppy. Katie is phenomenal - professional, kind, and thorough. She takes the time to listen to what you envision and our pup, Berkley, just loves her. Cannot recommend From Head to Tail Spa enough - they care about your pet and your four legged friend will come back smelling and looking amazing!
