Everyone I've ever worked with for their proposal has told me one thing, they were nervous. Not so much nervous that their partner would say "No, " but nervous that their plan wouldn't work out. They'd get lost or it wouldn't be special or their partner would catch on to what was happening beforehand.

Ryan and Laura traveled up from Brooklyn and married at the Senate Garage in Kingston, New York one October evening. Amy and Phil walk back to the group after a few photos alone at the Adirondack Woodcraft Camps in Old Forge, New York. Ashley and Greg walk with their bridal party through Empire State Plaza in Albany, New York.
Giving Back

So it may be a bit tacky or whatever to talk about philanthropic work and giving back to the community, but I think it's important as a business to share my support of these organizations and spread the word about the good that they do.
