Dr. Ida Abraham graduated from Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL with a B.A in Pre-med/Biology, and she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. She trained extensively in various Chiropractic Techniques including Pettibon Postural Correction Technique, Chiropractic Extremity Techniques, Graston Technique, Gonstead Technique, Thompson Techniques and Activator Technique.

Brief paperwork to help gain information about yourself and your condition. After your paper work is complete, consultation is done between you and the doctor to discuss your health related concerns. Dr. Ida Abraham then collects all history and does examinations to diagnose the problem. If the problem can be helped with chiropractic care, same day treatments are rendered.

Dr. Ida Abraham diagnoses and treats patient whose health problems are associated with the body's muscular, nervous, and skeletal systems, especially the spine. She believes interference with these systems impairs normal functions and can be a source of pain. Dr. Abraham believes that the spinal misalignment may alter many important body functions by affecting the nervous system and creating skeletal imbalance.

The spine is made up of 33 vertebrae that start from the base of the skull to below your waist; 24 of the vertebrae are moveable and 9 are fused. The spine is divided into sections: cervical, thoracic, lumbar, the os sacrum, and the coccyx. Any number of traumas, light or severe, can misalign the spine and cause pain.
