Community Driver Program
Our Community Driver Program empowers local residents to become volunteer drivers while receiving travel reimbursement. Participants help expand transportation access in rural areas where traditional services might be limited. This initiative creates mutually beneficial relationships between drivers and riders while strengthening community connections through shared transportation experiences.
Medical Appointment Transportation
We provide specialized transportation services for Medicaid clients needing non-emergency medical appointments. This program ensures individuals can access essential healthcare services regardless of personal transportation limitations. Our staff coordinates directly with Medicaid providers to schedule reliable, fare-free transportation for qualifying patients across our service areas.
Fixed Route Bus Services
Our fixed route bus system operates throughout the Northeast Kingdom and Lamoille County with regularly scheduled services. These routes provide consistent transportation options for residents' daily commuting needs, connecting towns and communities through reliable public transit infrastructure that supports work, education, and essential errands.
RCT Rides Microtransit
RCT Rides offers flexible microtransit solutions combining taxi-style convenience with public transportation affordability. This service provides door-to-door transportation within designated service areas using smaller vehicles that adapt to passenger demand patterns. The mobile app enables easy booking and real-time tracking for improved rider experience.
Rural Transportation Solutions
We develop customized transportation solutions addressing unique rural mobility challenges across 63 served towns. Our approach combines fixed routes, microtransit options, and volunteer driver networks to create comprehensive coverage where traditional transit models might be impractical. I think RCT deserves 5 stars. As a caregiver, daily transportation can be a drain. I drop my guy off and then in a few hours I'd have to pick him up. RCT drivers are consistent enough for my needs and it saves me a lot of mental energy, and gas obviously. I lived in a more rural area where this was not available, when we moved here and started getting this service it was really a huge weight off my shoulders. Thanks so much to the drivers that help out every day.

I'm sure RCT is very busy, it's very hard to schedule an appointment and know your going to make it on time, when you can't depend on RCT to either pick you up on time or at all. Yet, if the driver has to wait for you for any length of time, they will just leave. Us disabled people depend on RCT. Very disappointing
