Because of Jan's extensive experience in the performing arts, she works with actors worldwide for guidance in proper performance techniques. Jan has a talent for digging deeply into the actor's thoughts and emotions to make the lines truly come alive. Jan is here with well-known acting teacher Robert F. Lyons.

One of Jan's specialties is tutoring in American Business English and Etiquette, which can differ markedly from customs in other countries. For instance, Americans expect people to speak clearly and to the point; if you don't "tell it like it is, " you waste time, and time is money.

Because Americans use the telephone to conduct business that would require a face-to-face meeting in most other countries, Jan has her students engage in extensive role play of phone conversations in business situations.
