New York Math Academy and Coaching Services (NYMACS) is a K-12 individualized academic support program. We are Engaging, Rigorous and Relevant. Our Organization fosters a love of learning and growth in our students and families. NYMACS is a community of learners involving students, instructors, and parents in the educational journey. We provide a nurturing and respectful environment where our students are inspired to explore and discover. Our focus is on the whole child in that we help each student reach his or her individual potential.
Tuition and Fees

This program is an ongoing support for struggling students, participants are required to attend 3 times per weeks after school for 2 hours each session. Due to the nature the program, participants are required to commit for at least 6 months. This is an academic year long program that guidance for newly arrived high school students.

Our Services are currently fully remote and we intend to keep our online services even when everything get back to normal. So, we serve students from everywhere as long as they have access to reliable internet connection. Our tutors are Teachers, Graduate students, College students and Engineers, with many years of tutoring experience.

NYMA relies on the Singapore Math approach, a renowned teaching method that strongly emphasizes problem solving and model drawing, with a focus on in-depth understanding of the essential math skills recommended in the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) Curriculum Focal Points, the National Mathematics Advisory Panel, and the proposed Common Core State Standards.

Test Prep

The SAT and the ACT are general aptitude test to help colleges know which students are academically talented and they offer metrics to measure it. We are in no way arguing that these are the perfect metrics or they work. The reality is, it you want to get into a competitive college of your choice, you need to submit a SAT or ACT score.
