Golf+ in Dothan was started by Dr. William Watson over 30 years ago. After moving back to Dothan from Vestavia, AL where he frequented ProGolf Discount, a national chain of discount golf shops, Dr. Watson purchased a franchise for the Wiregrass area. Today Alan Watson, Dr. Watson's son is the owner/operator of Golf+ after changing the name nearly 10 years ago and dropping the franchise.

At GOLF+ our fitting process has been refined over years down to a simple yet effective system. Our fitters use the latest technology to aid in the process all in an effort to get you the right clubs for your game. We offer many brands and can custom build on site, custom order from the manufacturers, or rebuild your current set to the correct specs.

Golf+ has a trained staff of professionals who can re-shaft steel or graphite irons, woods, putters, and hybrids. We can also adjust loft or lie on most models of irons and putters. We use the same equipment found on PGA Tour vans that work on professional's equipment. We carry top brands of shafts and grips like Fujikura, Golf Pride, Winn, Lamkin, and many more.
