I bought 2 king cakes from Sam's. One filled the other plain. The pecan filling was thin and actually had a fruity taste. The deal breaker though is, there is no cinamon in these king cakes! Just plain yellow dough. When I returned them to Sam's the girl at the customer service desk was even shocked and said she has never heard of a king cake without cinamon.

BEST experience working with La Louisiane for our wedding and groom's cake!! Thank you so much, the pictures don't even do them justice!!! We barely took any home with us and the carrot cake was gone so quick we didn't even get to try it - a real hit!
