We take time to work with our clients to create one of a kind events, focusing on local seasonal dishes and sourcing as many ingredients possible from local farms, producers, and artisans. We also offer help with rentals, linens, decor, event planning, and anything else that may be needed for an event.

After Graduating from Connecticut Culinary Institute he spent years honing his craft at local upscale and fine dining restaurants including: Newport Restaurant Group, Eleven Forty Nine Restaurant, and Centro Bar and Lounge.

We chose 401 Gourmet to cater for our wedding after my husband sampled some of his skills at his bachelor party. Mark is exceptionally accommodating and patiently consulted with us on a number of occasions as we honed in on what we wanted for our wedding menu. Everything was delicious!
Following the hors d'oeuvres (including scallops in bacon and wild mushrooms in filo pastry - OMG), we opted for a traditional Italian family style menu that included artisanal bread and butter, roasted seasonal veg, homemade pastas, along with meatballs and sausages.We also ordered quiches to provide breakfast for all our guests the next morning but little did we know it would be the smoked salmon terrine that would steal the show - a must try!
