The weld joints created by the laser are stronger than traditional solder, very little heat is generated at the weld point, which is critical when working on jewelry with heat-sensitive stones and intricate designs, the laser weld created is also very smooth, extremely durable and long lasting.

Mr. Lomax was exceptional! He not only sat down and walked us through the diamond/engagement ring buying process, but took the time out of his schedule to answer all of our questions and show us different loose stones, settings, and beautifully crafted rings he has made over the years. We ended up buying a gorgeous marquise diamond from him and he was able to make the ring for us in one day.
Would honestly give him an 11/10 recommendation if possible. In addition to being a fine master of his craft, he’s got some hilarious stories and is very entertaining.

I gave my earrings one week ago and he told me to pick up after 5 days Suturday afternoon, when i came the store was close. I picked on Tuesday after one week and my earrings did not been fixed and when i asked why my earrings still same condition, he told me that he does not want to do business with me and told me by bye bye bye bye, he been rude and told me i have to leave. If you can not fix or give proffesional opinion and continue working with client to resolve the problem i do not know why still keep the store open and keep my earrings for one week when i needed my earrings and was small

This guy is scary, unscrupulous and unreliable. How he could be in business in our community is mind boggling. He made my wife literally fear for her life. There are many other jewelers in SOP that will be happy to do good work at a fair price, when promised, without the verbal abuse, altercations, and brutality.
If I could give less than one star I would. Run....not walk away from his store.

I came in to get my necklace fixed. It took about 2 hours and was very reasonably priced! The owner was also extremely personable and kind!! There were two dogs in the office; however, they were very friendly as well and didn’t bark or growl when I came in. Overall a great experience and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a quality jeweler!

He made my husbands wedding band in a short time and it is absolutely gorgeous!! He’s a great jewlerysmithe and is always good to sit and talk to. If you sit with him to discuss what you like, you’ll learn actual craft knowledge and history about what you’re having made. He’s full of knowledge and stories. Very nice man and beautiful friendly dogs!

I went here for my engagement ring setting after the one I ordered with Paul Harkness turned out horribly. He is a super interesting guy, offered us great advice and was extremely friendly. While we were there he got a phone call (presumably from another customer) and he offered to stay open later so that she could pick up her piece(s). I am extremely happy with my ring, it is exactly what I wanted.

The man who runs the shop is an interesting. Character. Aside from that, he is very professional when it comes to his jewelry. He worked on my wife’s wedding ring and pointed out exactly what was the problem. He walked he through what needed to be fixed and even took up close pictures as to what the problem actually was. For us, we had some spacing issues on holding the diamond. He showed exactly which prong and what is wrong and how to fix it.
He may be an acquired taste for people but his craftsmanship and his diligence to the jewelry is what really counts.
I would recommend him for any jewelry

This guy is a literal racist NIGHTMARE. I paid $45 dollars to have a ring sized and it broke at his "soldered seam" less than 6 weeks later. Upon returning to his establishment I got an UNSOLICITED lecture on the 1st Amendment while Alex Jones blared in the background. When I asked where Mr. Jones 1st Amendment rights were being restricted he "informed" me of Alex Jones YouTube and FaceBook restrictions. When I asked if he felt Alex Jones was adult content or should be allowed for viewing by small children Mr. Lomax, THE OWNER, LITERALLY threw me out of his store, WITHOUT

Jeff is a true master of his trade and does amazing work. He has sized rings for me, handmade earrings for me and helped me pick out the perfect ring for my fiancé. When I told him how much I had saved for the engagement ring he didn't try to sell me the biggest one that I could afford. He sat with me and talked to me for well over an hour, after he had closed, to get a better idea which ring (metal, shape etc.) would be the perfect one. His custom work speaks for itself and he has pictures on his Facebook page that you can check out. One of my favorite things about going to his shop is talking

Jeff has made and repaired jewelry for me for over 30 years. He designed and made my engagement ring and my husbands wedding band. I have always trusted his advise concerning jewelry. . Most recently he stayed open late for me to drive almost 2 hours to have a ring sized for my son's fiancé. He sized and cleaned it while I waited. I brought him a pile of broken fine and costume jewelry I'd accumulated over the years- not exactly the most creative request, just "help!" Mr. Lomax was very friendly and asked me to describe exactly what I needed done for each piece (such as: need a loop here, a clasp there, reattach this, untie vicious knot in fine gold chain, etc).
