Plaza Lane Optometry
We provide personalized vision care and quality eye wear in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz. We carry the largest selection of frames in the county for all budgets but we are especially well known for our boutique lines, which are beautiful, well made, small batch and exclusive frames. We carefully curate our selection to bring our customers the most sought after styles as well as unusual, playful ones.

The best way to shop for the perfect glasses and sunglasses is to do it in person. With the guidance of our knowledgeable opticians you can feel confident that your frames work well with your unique features as well as your prescription. We believe that everyone has a right to quality eye care, which starts with finding the right doctor.

Our Story
Report
In the aftermath my good friend, Dr. David Farberow, and I decided to invest our savings and our futures in the recovery of Downtown Santa Cruz. A vacant lot appeared where Penniman Title and United Sagar once stood. Joining with other partners, we were able to buy this empty space and eventually design and build a building located on the alleyway known as Plaza Lane.
