In 1954, the late Willard (Bill) Bishop, along with his brother, Robert, began as Bishop Brothers Logging in Kulpsville, PA. A few years later the business expanded to include a sawmill which produced hardwood lumber for local industries and the surrounding farm community. In 1970, the partnership between Willard & Robert was dissolved.
Willard continued the business by himself and in 1972, Willard and his son Michael became partners in the business and moved from Kulpsville to the current location at Schoolhouse & Nice Roads in Souderton, PA. The name was then changed to Bishop Wood Products. Several years later, Mike's son Michael joined the partnership.

Bishop's Fencing and Outdoor Products is located in beautiful Franconia Township - approximately 17 miles north of Philadelphia. We are a family owned business and have been servicing the Philadelphia area for over 50 years. With over five acres of land, we are able to regularly stock mulch, lumber, furniture, pallets, and much, much more!

While other companies may use recycled items or ground leftovers, Bishop's mulch comes from sawmills or land clearing operations, rather than recycled products.
