Sun Damaged Skin

Repeated exposure to sunlight, or artificial ultraviolet light (as with tanning beds), can cause a variety of skin problems. Over exposure to the sun contributes to premature aging and increases the risk of developing skin cancer. Some signs of sun damaged skin include telangectasia (red or purple "spider veins"), uneven pigmentation, lines and wrinkles, thinning of the skin, loss of skin elasticity, and sores that do not heal.
