The Colonia of Elgin is home to Arizona's first Winery, Distillery, and Brewery facility. The Elgin Winery has been producing wines from Arizona grapes since the post-prohibition resurgence in winemaking in the Sonoran desert. The Elgin Distillery was the first licensed Craft Distillery in Arizona and is the most and highest awarded distillery in the west.
The Elgin Brewery which was originally founded in 1999 has again placed its license on hiatus until a new set of legislative challenges can be fixed. We started with the Elgin and Tombstone wineries, added the Brewery and Four Monkey Winery, then the Distilleries.

Report
The Elgin Winery was founded at the rebirth of Arizona Wine in the early 80s. Bill Letarte was instrumental in the reemergence of post prohibition wine marketing and promotion, and was determined to see the fledgeling industry strive. With his commitment to Arizona wine, the Village of Elgin was set to thrive.
Our Brands
Report
Originally founded to take advantage of our Four Monkey Rum label, we named each wine to match our personalities, Playful, Naughty, Cheeky, and Sinful. The number one selling Arizona wine is Tombstone Red, Bill Letarte's brain child, the Tombstone line of wines reflect traditional European styles made in the old west.
