In 1979, we first became involved in the Para-Transit industry and at that time we had about 30 employees and about 18 vehicles. Today we have over 100 vehicles on the street along with about 150 employees. All of our drivers have Child Abuse Clearence, and State police checks done and are Drug tested in order to secure the safest possible transportation for our customers and clients.

In 1979 Willow Grove Cab Company entered the Paratransit business, transporting persons with disabilities to workshops in the Montgomery and Bucks Counties. In 1980 they began transporting to senior centers. Shortly thereafter, Pennsylvania started offering seniors the ability to go anywhere in the Bucks and Montgomery areas on a shared ride basis.

Bux-Mont provides curb to curb reduced rate transportation to all seniors 65 years of age or older in Montgomery County. As a member of the Shared Ride Program, funded through the Pennsylvania State Lottery, you now have a safe, reliable and economical way to get from your home to your destination.
