Over the years, the My Sunshine Tutoring center has grown to become regarded as a small boutique school. This is because we try and emulate, as much as possible, the process that takes place in the classroom. What sets us apart from the public school classroom is that we provide individualized, one on one attention to the students.

Farida has a strong background in education, beginning with her studies and work in Uzbekistan and continuing in New York. She has been teaching for more than 20 years, using methods that have PROVEN to deliver results. She was recently given the Human Values award by the Art of Living Foundation - International Association for Human Values for her "inspiring contribution to uplifting human values in the world."
Omar R Jackson - Math

Omar is one of our best math tutors. His students have gone on to see grades improved by at least 50%, This number grows even more, once the students apply themselves and implement the tools that he sets forth in the individualized plan he has arranged for his students.
In keeping with the Common Core program set out by New York State, he makes sure to incorporate all that is required by the New York State Department of Education and also what he's see fit to get students up to their grade level.He also designs programs specific for each student, because as we know, everybody is different and learns at a different pace.

Olga Brileva - Math & English

Olga is an NYC substitute teacher with the NYC Board of Education and has been working at My Sunshine Tutoring Center for some time now, teaching Math and ELA. She is a graduate of Touro College; and is currently pursuing her Master's degree from Hunter College. She loves to work with a one-on-one approach which she believes "provides the kids with individualized attention and learning."
