Ill start out by saying, working with King Energy was a pleasure. From the first consultation with Scot to the installation almost a year later, I could not have been happier with the entire process. My home was built in 2007 and my wife and I started discussing replacing our aging AC units which had given us issues previously. After talking with our previous HVAC company, we discovered that our oil boiler was about twice the size that it needed to be, causing us to use a significant amount of extra oil each year.
Geothermal peaked my interest when I realized, with the combination of the solar

Thanks to Scot, Bob, and their staff at King Energy! This company is very professional about getting the right geothermal products and installation for their customers. After they replaced the heat pump and fixed major issues of our existing system, we finally have a geothermal system that we had dreamed of!!! We highly recommend geothermal, and from our experiences, King Energy is one of the best and most trustable installers in the market. My husband and I came from the city, where clanging heat pipes and big spurts of super-dry heat were the norm. Geothermal is a revelation. The big eye-opener was when our rusty, old oil tank was removedgone! We thought wed need it for back up, but no. In its place is a shiny new geo system. Scot from King Energy designed a perfect duct system that is nearly invisible. Bob expertly tweaked the fine-points of the wiring. Great guys to work with! The geo system works flawlessly and the exact temperature is set instantly by tapping the thermostat. It is set it and forget it, T-shirt weather

In 2014, We asked King Energy to propose a geothermal heating and cooling system for our home. At the time, we had an oil burner for baseboard heat and hot water, and we did not have air conditioning.
Scot suggested a geothermal heat pump with two wells, each 300 feet deep, plus a hot water heater powered by an an air-source heat pump and heat from a de-superheater in the geothermal system. During installation, King Energy worked closely with the ductwork sub-contractor and our electrician to make sure everything went smoothly, and the electrician installed sub-meters so I could track the energy
