Most families with children choose a pediatrician for their overall health care needs through their developing years. Pediatric dentists fill this same crucial role in oral health medicine. All dentists receive similar training and must earn an undergraduate degree and attend four years of dental school where they receive either a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).

If we are not, however, credentialed with your insurance provider, check with your plan to see if it includes out of network benefits. We are sensitive to children's needs and it is our goal to make your child feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing the best care possible.
Emergencies

If your child has injured their teeth or gums, bring them to our pediatric dental office for emergency dental care. We offer treatments for several problems, including teeth that have been knocked out, chipped teeth, damaged gum tissue, items trapped between teeth, and severe toothaches. Sedation/Anesthesia

Some children are given nitrous oxide/oxygen, or what you may know as laughing gas, to relax them for their dental treatment. Nitrous oxide/oxygen is a blend of two gases, oxygen and nitrous oxide. Nitrous oxide/oxygen is given through a small breathing mask which is placed over the child's nose, allowing them to relax, but without putting them to sleep.
