In 1891 Floyd and Amanda Loop established the F.A. Loop and Son Undertakers & Furniture Store on Main Street in Bolivar, New York. In the early days, funeral visitation in the family's home was the norm. As customs changed the use of a funeral home gained in popularity. So they purchased the 66 Friendship Street property as their funeral home.

Whether families request burial, cremation, entombment or body donation, an appropriate service can be designed that will honor their loved ones memory and help with the transition and grief process that every family experiences. Typically this refers to a wake or visitation followed by a funeral service at the church or funeral home.
Cremation

There is often misunderstanding when a family selects cremation as the final disposition of a loved one. Cremation is not a service or a substitute for a funeral. Families may have any of the services they desire, e.g., visitation and funeral service before cremation. Cremation then follows and a graveside service can then be scheduled.
Monuments

In 1982 we became affiliated with the Carmichael and Reed Monument Company LLC in Warsaw, NY, to provide a full range of cemetery memorials, markers, lettering and cleaning for the families we serve. The Family Monument is a tablet mounted on top of a base used to identify a family's burial plot within a cemetery.
