We Beldens feel incredibly fortunate to be stewards of this magical site on Sonoma Mountain which has taken turns as a dairy farm, prune orchard and turn-of-the-century rural retreat, complete with a dance hall and stagecoach stop. The property's long history of farming and hospitality dates back to the late 1800's.

Vineyard

One of the first people to plant grapes in the Sonoma Mountain / Bennett Valley region after a 60-year absence, David Steiner was viewed as a pioneer when he established the vineyard in the early 1970s. David originally planted Cabernet Sauvignon and had success with the initial vintages produced by Stonegate and Joseph Swan, among others.
