Borelli's Dance Gallery has been a cornerstone of dance and gymnastics education in Pittsburgh since 1991. Founded by Dana Borelli Pecarchik and Pamela Borelli Barsotti, our studio combines over 60 combined years of professional dance experience with a commitment to fostering growth in students of all ages. Our team of 20+ certified instructors includes nationally recognized performers and educators who have trained at institutions like Point Park University and Duquesne University. We offer comprehensive programs in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, and gymnastics, serving both recreational and competitive dancers aged 18 months and up. Our facility features six dance studios, a state-of-the-art gymnastics room, and a boutique for dance essentials.

Dance Classes

We offer comprehensive dance instruction for ages 18 months and up, covering ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical styles. Our classes combine technical training with creative expression, taught by certified instructors with professional performance backgrounds. Students benefit from progressive curriculum and regular performance opportunities.

Gymnastics

Our gymnastics program develops strength, flexibility, and coordination through structured classes for preschoolers to teens. Certified coaches use state-of-the-art equipment to teach fundamental skills and advanced techniques. Classes are available for all skill levels from beginner to competitive preparation.

Competitive Team

Our nationally recognized competitive team provides elite training for dedicated dancers aged 3-19. Members receive specialized coaching in multiple dance styles and compete at regional and national events. The program includes master classes with industry professionals and performance opportunities at public events.

Birthday Parties

We host themed birthday celebrations including dance/gymnastics parties, princess parties, and glow parties. Packages include studio space rental, instructor-led activities, and access to our facility amenities. Custom options are available to create memorable experiences for children of all ages.

Dance Boutique

Dana Borelli Pecarchik

Co-Owner & Artistic Director

Dana Borelli Pecarchik co-founded Borelli's Dance Gallery in 1991 after earning a B.A. in Dance from Point Park College. With 40+ years of dance experience, she has performed professionally in Pittsburgh and New York City, and brings technical expertise to our studio's curriculum.

Pamela Borelli Barsotti

Co-Owner & Artistic Director

Pamela Borelli Barsotti co-founded BDG in 1991 following her dance career that included performances in Germany with the Pittsburgh Ballet Opera Theatre. She holds a B.A. in Business Accounting and oversees the studio's operational excellence while maintaining instructional standards.

Taylor Pecarchik

Instructor & Co-Owner

Taylor Pecarchik, a University of Pittsburgh graduate, teaches multiple dance styles at BDG. With 18 years of competitive experience and national titles, she brings contemporary expertise to our staff while managing studio operations and teaching all age groups.

Shayla Pringle

Dance Instructor

Shayla Pringle, a West Coast Dance Explosion Senior Elite Dancer winner, teaches contemporary and jazz. With experience at Point Park University and Versatile Dance Company, she brings award-winning choreography skills and 15+ years of teaching expertise to our studio.

Madison Zaremski

Instructor & Camp Director

Madison Zaremski, a former BDG competition team member, teaches dance classes and directs summer camps. Currently studying Business at Duquesne University, she combines her 15+ years of competitive experience with youth engagement skills to develop our recreational programs.

What dance styles do you teach?

We offer ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, and gymnastics classes for ages 18 months and up.

Do you have competitive dance teams?

Yes, our nationally recognized Competitive Dance Company accepts students aged 3-19 with opportunities to compete regionally and nationally.

What are your class pricing options?

Non-competitive classes start at $49/month with no registration fee. Competitive team pricing varies based on competition schedules and training hours.

Do you offer summer programs?

We host themed summer camps including Princess Camp, Superhero Camp, and Dance & Cheer Gymnastics Camp for ages 3-12.

Can I rent the studio for events?

Our facility hosts birthday parties and special events with themed packages available for dance-themed celebrations and other occasions.

Teachers and Classes are very well organized. Definitely recommend for Little gymnasts to shape up their skills

I have no personal experience with other dance studios, just what I have learned from friends and family, so I have told them all that even though my son has been taking classes for a few months I'm already a believer in this company. After watching the recital I'm even more impressed. I've seen other recitals and this one is done better then them all. Being a student in this school has done a lot for my son already in so many ways and I can't wait to see more.

After dancing for 19 years at BDG, I can honestly say that it's my home. Dana and Pam have dedicated every day for 27 years to the studio, and it shows. They & the rest of the staff support the dancers at each & every dance event regardless of date, time or location. They're true advocates of loyalty, dedication and teamwork -- all the things I could ever ask for in a dance school. Because of this, I have made friendships at BDG that will last a lifetime. They say once a Borelli, always a Borelli. And boy am I proud to be one.
