Dr. Michels graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. He specializes in orthopedic surgery and has practiced in northern Wayne County before joining SVC in 2016. He enjoys outdoor activities with his family and three dogs.
Dr. Shane Donley
Practice Owner
A 1996 graduate of Ohio State Veterinary School, Dr. Donley has served the community for over 25 years. He focuses on large animal medicine and enjoys outdoor activities with his family at Country Side Chapel church.
Dr. Jim Honigford
Practice Owner
Since joining SVC in 1990, Dr. Honigford has specialized in dairy and equine medicine. A 1990 Ohio State graduate, he balances his veterinary work with family time, gardening, and boating activities.
Dr. Aaron Pospisil
Veterinarian
Dr. Pospisil joined SVC in 2017 after graduating from Ohio State. His expertise includes dairy medicine, calf care, and equine treatment. He practices photography and hikes Buckeye Trail with his family in Dover.

I chose to do curbside today because of my own (fragile) health and the rising covid numbers. They treated my dog wonderfully. The vet called and discussed everything with me. And it was super quick appointment. She was back in my car in record time!
