We have had children at Highland for 3 consecutive years now and cannot wait to return when our youngest is ready to attend. The teachers really encourage friendship, creativity, independence, and joy in all the classrooms! Each staff member brings their own strengths to create an extremely well-rounded experience for the children. My son loves Highland so much, and getting him to come home with me is the only problem I have ever had!

Our Program

The Highland Pre-School program is designed to help foster the growth of the whole child - physically, socially, emotionally, creatively and cognitively. The program includes dramatic play, music, movement, games, craft activities, art and stories, as well as field trips and other special activities.

At the beginning of each month you will receive a newsletter which will inform you of general plans, field trips, important dates, and other special events which will occur at school during the upcoming month. We will also include a copy of the newsletter on each class page here on the website. The children are asked to plan, provide, prepare and serve a nutritious snack for the entire class several times a year.
