Willy, Nanayakkara and Associates is a full-service immigration law firm with over 35 years of experience in business immigration, family-based immigration, and immigration-related litigation. We also handle a variety of family law cases. Our firm rests on the solid bedrock of a team of five attorneys and a full complement of legal assistants and support staff.

Antwonique Gilmer was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2018. Prior to joining our firm, Ms. Gilmer gained valuable experience interning with the Hays County District Attorney's Office, clerking for the Harris County Probate Court No. 4, and working as a student attorney with the South Texas College of Law Legal Clinics.

We are delighted to announce that Retired Immigration Judge Jimmie L. Benton has joined our firm, Willy, Nanayakkara & Association as Of Counsel. He is a graduate of the United State Air Force Academy, has a M.A. Degree from the University of Northern Colorado and earned his law degree from the University of Taxes.

Founding Partner- Shellist, Peebles, McAlister LLP Attorneys at Law Mr. Shellist is a founding partner of Capitaine, Shellist, Warren and McAlister, L.L.P. He only accepts criminal cases. Specifically, he takes on a limited number of clients - those who wish to fight the government to the fullest extent.

Mr. Fischer is a former INS District Director, and had jurisdiction over Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. From 1988 until his retirement in 1999, Mr. Fischer headed all INS offices and activities in much of the southern United States. Mr. Fischer knows firsthand the complex issues facing employers and employees in today's global workplace.
