Services
Waterjet Cutting Services
Report
Our abrasive water jet cutting machinery is equipped with two axes and a 150 inch maximum length capacity. However, if necessary, we possess the ability to relocate the part, and continue cutting larger size components. Specializing in cutting steel and stainless steels up to six inches thick, our advanced equipment is also able to process a wide variety of other materials, including alloys, brass, titanium, and plastic.
Laser Cutting Services
Report
Austin Waterjet offers advanced laser cutting services that can be used for a variety of applications, including architectural ornaments, HVAC, sheet metal fabrication, and signs. Equipped with a CO2 laser, a flying optic configuration, and three axis cutting capability, our advanced machinery can cut aluminum, steel and stainless steel.
Value Added Services
Report
In order to provide the most effective and economical services to our customers, Austin Waterjet has added additional capabilities beyond waterjet and laser cutting. We stock most common types and thicknesses of metal plate. Material Test Reports are available upon request at no additional cost to our customers.
Laser Cutting & CNC Forming of Aluminum for Electronics Manufacturer
Report
Through a very efficient combination of laser cutting and CNC forming processes, our expert manufacturing technicians at Austin Waterjet were able to cost effectively create a set of three sheet metal components for an electronics manufacturer.

Our advanced flying optic laser technology, along with computer-driven forming machinery equipped with precision ground tooling, enabled us to accurately and repeatably manufacture the parts from 1/8 thick aluminum.Through well-developed strategies that enabled us to maximize material usage, we were able to provide a significant cost benefit to the customer while meeting their quality expectations.
Laser Cutting & CNC Forming for Semiconductor Manufacturer
Report
Using both precision laser cutting and CNC forming processes, we recently produced several sheet metal components for a client in the semiconductor industry. This project called for the use of various thicknesses, including 11 ga and 10 ga of both steel and aluminum.

Our sophisticated laser technology allowed us to cut blanks with precise edge finishes and accurate and consistent hole placement, while our feature-rich CNC forming equipment enabled fast setup for the bend sequences and rapid tooling changeover to accommodate the transition from steel to aluminum production.
