If your loved one dies at home: If your loved one has been under a doctor's care or in home hospice, the first call can be to the doctor or hospice nurse. If the death is sudden and unexpected, you should call 911, and they will dispatch a police officer. The police will notify the coroner who will come to your home to help determine the cause of death.

Our Heritage

In 1882, Henry Linnemann, formerly a Lieutenant on the Covington Police Department, President of Kentucky Federal Savings and Loan Association, and member of the Committee which formulated plans to construct the old Fourth Street Bridge between Covington and Newport, entered into the funeral business with Edward Moore.

In 1987, Linnemann Funeral Homes launched our own aftercare department, and to this day, we remain the only funeral home in Northern Kentucky to offer this unique service, allowing us to continue caring for our families long after the funeral is over.We provide support groups as well as monthly meetings at our event center to help families with their individual healing needs.
