Emergency Care
Our hospital provides 24/7 emergency veterinary services for critical pet health issues, including trauma, poisoning, and severe illness. The team is trained to handle urgent cases with rapid diagnostics and immediate interventions. Clients receive clear guidance on stabilizing pets before arrival, ensuring timely care.
Wellness Exams
Comprehensive wellness exams assess pets' overall health, detect early signs of disease, and establish baseline metrics. These visits include physical evaluations, vaccination updates, and preventative care recommendations tailored to age and lifestyle. Regular checkups help prevent chronic conditions and extend pets' lifespans.
Dental Care
We offer advanced dental services, including cleanings, extractions, and periodontal treatments, to maintain oral health. Untreated dental disease can lead to systemic issues affecting the heart, liver, and kidneys. Our team educates owners on home care to prevent plaque buildup and tooth decay.
Grooming
Professional grooming services include bathing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat maintenance for dogs and cats. Our groomers prioritize comfort, using gentle techniques to reduce stress. Regular grooming prevents skin issues and keeps pets looking and feeling their best.
Vaccinations
Core and non-core vaccinations protect pets from infectious diseases like rabies, distemper, and leptospirosis. We customize vaccine schedules based on age, health status, and regional risks. Vaccinations are critical for puppies, kittens, and senior pets with weaker immune systems.

They do a fine job of caring for our four cats. In addition, their prices are fairly reasonable. Please consider them for your veterinary needs if they are close enough to you.

Dr. Rutman and his staff are the kindest and most skilled veterinary hospital we have ever taken all of our pets to. While their prices a little higher than some, we wouldn't go anywhere else.

I love Eastside! I know Little Eloise is in good hands when she's there. And the vet tech that helped with the appointment smelled amazing. I sniffed the kitten all day because she smelled so lovely after her appointment. 10 out of 10!

We adore this place. We are new to the area and have four dogs. I was really nervous about finding a good vet and they came highly recommended. The first few days we were here my dog got a staff infection. Every vet hear us had no openings for weeks. They somehow fit him in. They spend so much time with you and address your concerns, they share so much concern with your pet and truly listen and spend the time with you. They follow up and want to hear how your pet is doing. Thank you for taking such good care of our babies!

There is no better vet than Dr. Rutman! He is absolutely the best! The care he takes of our dog Tasha is amazing. I'm so grateful that we have him. Extremely knowledgeable, doesn't ever recommend anything that's not necessary, so caring and truly cares about the quality of life of your pet. The entire staff at Eastside Dog & Cat Hospital is top notch. I highly recommend them!

You know we think you are the best. I don't think we would have Teddy without Dr. Rutman. We appreciate everything you do.

They do a wonderful job of taking care of all my pets. I was a long time customer of the Lyndhurst animal clinic until they recently were bought by some other company. I'll never go back there again. I will recommend everyone I know to the east side dog and cat hospital!
