HomeRite Windows & Doors was founded in 2005 by Jacksonville natives and co-owners, Richard Walden and Gates Dearen. Their experience in the industry dates back over 40 years. Richard went to work for Kinco, a major Jacksonville-based window and door manufacturer, in 1979. Gates arrived at the same company shortly thereafter, in 1981.
After almost 25 years of working together in the business in nearly every capacity, Richard and Gates launched HomeRite. After so many years in the business, Richard and Gates have garnered a large loyal following of residential and commercial clients. In fact, over eighty percent of HomeRite's business comes from word-of-mouth and referrals-families and individuals recommending HomeRite to their friends, families and business associates.
