Used Tires Express was founded in 2009 by Mike and Laurie Powell. With 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, Mike wanted to return to the tire industry, following in his father footsteps from many years back in Melbourne, Florida.
On a cold and snowy day in January of 2010, our journey began. We opened our first location at 4417 N Tryon Street in Charlotte, NC. With much success, and seeing the need to help our customers, we decided to open our second location, on yet again another cold day in February of 2011, located at 2509 S. Cannon Blvd, Kannapolis, NC.
