After multiple emails back and forth, the day of the move comes and they don't show because they forgot our booking. Had to call to get them to show up over an hour late. The guy says he's not going to charge us for them having to wait because we didn't have access to the freight elevator because *they* came late. Would never use them again.

I had Chicago Movers move me from my condo into a storage unit on May 14, 2018.
First, the two movers arrived almost two hours later than their planned time. Clearly they did not get along and started to argue and cuss at each other in front of me. I had my belongings packed, wrapped and ready to move quickly. One of the movers worked hard while the other spent 10 minutes wrapping a box fan with plastic. Really? Its a box fan. I spoke up and mentioned that he was wasting too much time. He asked me where my boyfriend was- and then told me that if he was a good boyfriend he would've been there

Originally we had booked another company who somehow messed up our email confirmed move time. My husband found Chicago Movers and they were available. They showed up when they said they were going to and even called us on the way to let us know they were 10-15 minutes away. They got to our place and were ALL BUSINESS, and moved our stuff out with a quickness. It took them about 1 hour 1/2 and about the same amount of time to move in. They were professional didn't destroy anything. They even had to removed the door and promptly put it back on when they were done. Their rates are reasonable
