The Shack is located on a property rich in history. In the 1700's it was the site where Indians from the Conestoga, Lenape and Delaware tribes would meet. During the years of 1853-1855, the historic Plank Road between Manheim and Lancaster was constructed. This allowed visitors to access the property.
