My HVAC career began in 2009 just after high-school when I got a job with a full service oil and propane company serving southeastern PA. I received valuable experience repairing, maintaining and installing all types of heating and cooling systems. Everything from oil and gas boilers and furnaces, tankless water heaters, heat-pumps, A/C units, mini-split heat-pumps, gas fireplaces, gas ranges, and the list could go on.
I also received valuable industry training including becoming NORA Gold Certified and EPA certified, as well as brand specific training. I continue to learn, and take training classes as often as possible. In 2015 I left my job to move to my wife's home area in the beautiful mountains of Floyd County.

This homeowner made a great choice by upgrading his old system to an inverter drive heatpump. We installed a Bosch 17.5 SEER Heatpump to replace his leaking 12 yr old system. This Bosch Inverter drive 17.5 Seer Heatpump was install in a newly constructed home, giving the home owner the best value for his money. We expect he will recoup the extra cost of upgrading to this system in only four years. Here is why. Conventional heatpumps begin loosing efficiency around 32F, and by 10F you are heating almost exclusively with electric backup heat.
3 Zone Fujitsu Install

This customer was interested in using mini splits to heat and cool their home due to the high efficiency and ability to zone individual areas of the home. After a site evaluation and assessing the available options, we settled on a Fujitsu 3 zone system. Because this system will be the primary heat source, we chose the XLTH option which allows this unit to provide significant heat output at -15F!
