Krolick's Chicken Barbecue was founded in 1999 by Stan Krolick, a former construction worker whose career shift followed a back injury and the devastating floods that impacted his community in the late 1990s. What began as a way to support neighbors in need has grown into a beloved Western New York tradition with over 15 employees. Our roadside stand offers a family-friendly, pet-friendly environment where guests can enjoy a picnic-style meal or take their food to go. Founder
Stan Krolick transitioned from construction to barbeque after a 1990 injury and the 1998 floods that devastated his community. My husband got the bbq chicken, I got a pulled pork sandwich. Both were delicious! My husband raved on and on about the potato salad! Quick service and a smiling waitress also helps!

Love Krolick's! Went for a fish fry, they were out. Plan B was delicious, though. Nice that you can bring your beverages. Well maintained picnic area and pleasant staff.

My personal rule of thumb: while driving when I see smoke and smell delicious BBQ, I stop and try it. Very rarely do these little roadside places let you down. This is my favorite BBQ place in the WNY area. Great chicken and ribs and sides. Perhaps some day I will try the other options, but the chicken / ribs are always too good for me to turn down. It's a great casual environment - all picnic tables and completely outside with lots of shade and space. Great to stop or to take home (still tastes great after the hour plus ride).

After driving past dozens of times, I finally decided to stop in today and give it a try. I wanted to get a good representative sampling so I ordered the Ribs and Chicken Dinner. My two sides were baked beans and macaroni and cheese. I've had BBQ all over the U.S. -- Kansas City, Texas, North Carolina, Memphis, and many points in between. My overall impression is that this was just not very good BBQ. The ribs were bland and chewy and the sauce was very plain and nondescript. The chicken was completely devoid of sauce and was dry and flavorless. The baked beans tasted as if they were straight out

Came home to visit wny and the family suggested krolicks! It had been ages since I had their bbq so was just fine with that! I had the bbq chicken meal. It came with meat and then choice if 2 sides and roll. I had the potatoes and green beans. All tasted super yummy!

Stopped in for the first time yesterday. Food is OK but not great. Pulled pork is more minced than pulled and very shy of BBQ sauce. Also no smokey flavor one would expect from a BBQ place. Baked beans are open can warm ups. Coleslaw is good. Willing to try again but not going to hurry about it!
