We offer comprehensive training in jazz, ballet, tap, gymnastics, lyrical, and hip hop, taught by a faculty recognized as the finest in the state. Services
Ballet Instruction
Our ballet program teaches Russian discipline techniques to students aged 6-17. We focus on proper body positions, foot and arm placements, and graceful movement progression. Classes range from beginner to advanced levels, preparing dancers for college or professional careers through annual recital performances.
Hip Hop Workshops
This energetic class combines funk, popping, and locking styles for ages 10-13. Students develop rhythm and freestyle skills while learning choreography that encourages self-expression. The curriculum emphasizes musicality and performance energy in a fun, non-competitive environment.
Gymnastics Training
Offering levels from pre-gym to advanced competition teams, our gymnastics program builds strength and flexibility. Students learn tumbling, bar work, balance beam techniques, and mini tramp skills. The curriculum supports both recreational and competitive athletes with specialized coaching for competition preparation.
Jazz Classes
Available for ages 6-17, our jazz program develops flexibility and technical skill through upbeat music styles. Classes progress from basic movements to complex choreography, focusing on style development and stage performance skills for both recreational and competitive dancers.
Preschool Dance
Designed for ages 2.5-4, this introductory program uses ballet-based movements to develop creativity and motor skills. Classes incorporate imaginative play and simple routines, culminating in a special performance during our annual recital to build confidence in young dancers.

Co-Director
With over 35 years in dance education, Angela Coburn co-founded Lets Dance to create a nurturing environment for young dancers. She oversees curriculum development and faculty training, ensuring technical excellence while maintaining the studio's founding philosophy of dance as life education.
Gary Coburn
Co-Director
Gary Coburn brings extensive dance competition experience to Lets Dance. As co-director, he manages studio operations and competition team logistics, working closely with instructors to maintain high performance standards while ensuring accessible dance education for all students.

What dance styles do you offer?
We offer jazz, ballet, tap, gymnastics, lyrical, and hip hop classes for ages 2 and up, with levels from beginner to advanced competition teams.
When does the new season start?
Fall classes begin September 7th each year, with registration typically held in mid-August at our West Warwick location.
What are your tuition rates?
Monthly tuition ranges from $48 for one class/week to $115 for unlimited classes, with discounts for additional family members.
Do you have competitive programs?
Yes, we offer competition teams and advanced classes in all disciplines, with opportunities to participate in regional and national events.

We are extremely pleased with Lets Dance! The owners, Gary and Angela, and all of the teachers, are child-centered, competent, experienced, and warm. We were amazed with the first recital in which my daughters took part: incredible energy and professionalism from early preparation until the day of the shows! We experience none of the tension, belittling, and yelling that characterizes a few other studios and wondered why we waited so long to discover this gem of a studio. The decision was life-changing. No wonder the dancers win so many national and international awards. They are highly respected

My daughters at ages 2.5 and 4 yo to try multiple classes before making a decision to commit. They are so laid back which makes things even better and more accommodating to the everyday full time, working family...I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!
