Suzie hosted the first meeting of the loosely knit Seldovia Garden Club on Sept 8, 2011 with guest speakers Neil and Kyra Wagner; 17 people attended.
Neil is the vice president of the Homer Garden Club and Kyra administrates the list serve, Sustainable Homer. They spoke on their experience with High Tunnel greenhouses. We look forward to writing bylaws next season and becoming a formally organized club that you will have an opportunity to join. Seldovia has had a special place in our lives since our first trip in on the Tustamena in 1972. Jerry soon became the town's dentist, comuting one to two weekends each month from Anchorage to see patients. In 1976 we purchased our Waterront Cottage and Suzie began the first of her beautification efforts on the corner of the boardwalk which is now Hoganson Park.

My wife and I spent 3 nights g at the Boardwalk Waterfront Cottage over Thyme on the Boardwalk. Our stay was wonderful. If there is a nicer place to stay in Seldovia I would be very surprised. From our arrival where Suzie shuttled our stuff from the dock to our reluctant departure our experience was perfect.
