Weekend surcharge ($5/$10 per visit) - There is a $5 extra fee per visit on Saturdays and Sundays, and a $10 extra fee for each weekend overnight stay. Holiday surcharge ($5 per visit) - Asurcharge that is applied per visit to any pet sitting service scheduled during holidays. 30-minute daily visit ($24)- includes all of the above plus playtime, plant watering, bringing in the mail, and taking out the trash if needed.

Gotham City Cat Care is insured and bonded by Business Insurers of the Carolinas, a company that counts pet-sitting businesses as one of their specialties. When you are away and depending on someone else to take care of your home and your precious feline friends, it is so very important to know that this care is backed up by full liability insurance coverage, honesty bonding, and criminal background checks.

Ready for Rescue is a 501 C-3, non-profit New York City-based rescue group founded in 2009. They rescue homeless cats and dogs living precarious lives on the streets and save those doomed to die at high kill shelters and help them find loving homes. They have a particular expertise in rehabilitating sick and injured animals - an expensive endeavor.

Very professional service from our sitter, Cassandre, throughout from initial contact to closure. We were totally impressed with the attention given to every detail. It gave us a lot of comfort that our cats would be well taken care of even in the case of an emergency. The status reports, pictures and videos helped us feel connected to them.

Emergency- a situation which requires swift, immediate action, such as a fire, earthquake, tornado, etc. Disaster - the type of event that often requires a coordinated evacuation, usually with advance notice. In these instances, there is the likelihood of people and pets being displaced from their homes for longer periods of time.
