Americare is an assisted living / senior board & care that provides a home-style atmosphere for seniors who are unable to live independently but who do not require constant medical attention.

We understand that each resident is an individual with unique needs and preferences; furthermore, we also realize that care is a team effort. At the backbone of our philosophy of care is our idea that care should be tailored to fit the unique needs of each senior and their families.

In order to develop a personalized care plan, we meet with each resident and their families to conduct an assessment (prior to move-in and at regular intervals after) in order to better understand the current and on-going needs of the senior.Assistance with taking prescribed medication in accordance with physician's instruction or physician's report.

Americare invites you to our beautiful home located in the lovely Walteria neighborhood of Torrance. The home was completely remodeled in 2006 and features a comfortable design with large private bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms and comfortable common living areas. The home is located at the foothill of Palos Verdes and is within minutes from Rolling Hills, Palos Verdes and South Redondo Beach.
